The technical-operational criteria for the development of construction or expansion projects of private tracks are based on the Railroad Service Regulation

The purpose of these technical-operational criteria is to ensure that construction projects meet efficiency and safety conditions in railway operations.

You can find more details in the Railroad Service Regulation and articles 31 and 34 of the Regulatory Law of the Railroad Service.

Procedure for the construction of private roads

  • Complete the questionnaire.
  • Design your conceptual project based on Ferromex/Ferrosur operational guidelines.
  • Submit the questionnaire and your Conceptual Project to the Commercial Management of Ferromex/Ferrosur.
  • Together, we will agree on the project that best suits your needs.
  • Submit your Executive Project to the SCT.
  • Receive authorization for your project from the SCT.
  • Contact the Commercial Management to request the drafting of the DVC (Direct Visibility Connection) usage agreement.
  • Sign the DVC usage agreement.
